Hope Medical Clinic empowers and equips women — regardless of circumstance — through compassionate, confidential, and cost-free services. Hope operates two locations: Hood River (1942 12th Street) and The Dalles (3206 W. 6th Street).
Free limited medical services for anyone facing an unplanned pregnancy: options counseling, nurse-administered urine pregnancy tests, limited obstetrical ultrasounds, nursing consultations, and referrals. Judgment-free care from medical staff who truly care.
Supports clients from pregnancy through their child''s first birthday. Women and their spouses or significant others can participate in individualized or couple-based prenatal and parenting coaching. Using the BrightCourse video-based learning platform, clients learn on topics like pregnancy, labor and delivery, infant care, parenting, finances, and emotional, physical, and spiritual health. Clients meet weekly with an advocate for encouragement and support.
Each completed appointment earns points redeemable in the Hope baby boutique — stocked with diapers, wipes, clothing, and other essentials. To celebrate each birth, Hope provides a donated layette of new baby items and postpartum kits to support mothers after delivery.
All Hope Medical programs are supported by private donations, grants, fundraising efforts, and other local contributions — no government funds.
