Raising funds and community support to ensure vibrant libraries in Hood River County.
Events hosted by Hood River County Library Foundation.
Guided by a volunteer board, the Foundation works closely with the Hood River County Library District to identify priority needs and direct community funding to where it has the greatest impact.
Through donations, memberships, grants, and the annual Feast of Words fundraiser, the Foundation provides funds to the Library District each year to support programs, technology, the bookmobile, Maker Space materials, and capital improvements. The Foundation also funds free books, digital resources, and facility upgrades.
There are many ways to support vibrant libraries in Hood River County.
Join the Foundation or Friends to support ongoing library operations. See the contact information for either organization.
Help throw a great party in the library and raise funds to improve library services across our county.
The 14th Annual Feast of Words Gala is April 10, 2027 — the Foundation's signature fundraiser.
Give through online and recurring giving, planned giving, in-kind gifts, corporate matching gifts or the Oregon Cultural Trust matching gifts program or to our designated fund at the Gorge Community Foundation (Hood River County Library Fund). https://hoodriverlibrary.org/donate/
